Los Angeles - During my vacation in LA, my friend Lester and I went to the Hauser & Wirth DTLA gallery to check out the 'Beyond Measure’ exhibit by British artist, Thomas J. Price. This exhibit marks Price's first comprehensive solo exhibition in the US, following his acclaimed public presentation ‘Witness’ (2022) with The Studio Museum in Harlem, NY. His new series of sculptures are created from bronze and marble. These sculptures are a celebration of the strength of everyday individuals, focusing on the universal human qualities that unite us. I was mesmerized by the detail of the structures' hair. Incredible craftmanship!
